 Welcome to Akira Poodles, our Web Site!

We have been breeding standard poodles now for 9 years. We live in central Massachusetts and focus on health and temperament as well as conformation, proper structure and workability.  We believe in producing pups from diversified lines, outcrossing for health and longevity.  All our dogs live with us and the females we use for breeding are with us for life. Our puppies are raised in our home, handled daily, socialized by many cats, dogs, children and adults.

He was imported from Russia in 2008 from the Dom Totem kennel.  He has an important job here to help diversify the gene pool of the standard poodle which has been riddled with inbreeding and popular sires here in the United States.
